Lets have Three Blooms for the Third Challenge!
For speed I stuck with the Bloomin’ with Beauty Stamp Set and spent a long time trying to decide if I was going to use the Scallop Circle Punch or the Scallop Edge.
As you can see I went for the Scallop Circle, which allowed me to highlight my images, create interesting heart shaped corners and to create an interesting background on the Gable Green layer. The heart shapes were made by lining up the corner of my card with two of the scallops from the circle. I wanted to give the background some texture and it was made by sponging Gable Green ink around a part of a cut out scallop circle, moving the circle and repeating.
The finished card did not come out as I hoped it would and the bad photographhy really does not help, but I do like how fresh it looks and how different the same stamp can look!

Stamp With Us Colour Challenge
Now having used cupcakes for last week’s challenge I decided against using them again. Inspired by the lovely colours I reached for the Chocolate Chip, the Vellum and the Kraft card. This card features the stunning Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set. The main image was stamped with versamark and Chocolate Chip and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
This was mounted on a layer of vellum which reminded me of the cupcake case. The next Kraft layer was stamped with Chocolate Chip and again mounted on Vellum, followed by a layer of patterned paper from the Ski Slope set. This was all finished off with a little of the delicious double stitched grosgrain ribbon and a lovely little button from the Button Latte set.
I wanted to remind you all about the special offers I have for those of you who want to take the Stamp With Us classes – there are two product offers for those of you who are looking to treat themselves to the goodies used in the classes and then there is a very special offer. If you join my team this month I will pay for you to take the classes – read all about it here
Tomorrow is my monthly card class in Dunstable – I am looking forward to seeing everyone.
Thank you for stopping by today. Did you know today is the half way point for the other challenge I set myself – to post daily for 42 days! See you tomorrow

Tuesday Trio
First I stamped the Fresh Cut Stamp on the front of the card, then removed the die cut sections – I put these to one side – you will see why later! Next I put a layer of co-ordinating card behind the die cut section, I love how this ties things in so quickly – no more hours spent looking for just the right shades. The finishing touches were to stamp the flower from the fresh cut set and set it in the middle of the card with a pearl from the Pretties kit. Quick, easy and adorable cards – the hardest bit was deciding which colours to use!
But what about those off cuts ... well I used them to make this flower shaped gift tag! All I did was stick them down and cut round the outside – well they were just too cute to throw away!
More tomorrow but if you can’t wait to get playing with your own Fresh Cuts Notes and Stamp Set and you live in the UK email me and we can arrange for them to be on their way to you! The Notes are just £6.95 for a set of 15 – a bargain for those last moment cards and the Stamp Set is £18.95. If you order both from me this month I will double the number of entries you have in this month’s customer draw (details of the customer club and the monthly draw are here). That means that if all you order are these items you will have four entries, but if you add to the order I will double to total number of entries for your order. Good Luck.

Monday Monday
So it’s the start of a new week – and who knows what excitement this week will bring!
Now I realised this morning that I did not share with you the winners of my Easter Blog Candy, I was surprised at the number of responses so have upped the number of winners - so without further ado the lucky winners of a goodie bags are:
- Emma
- Kim
- Lynne (email)
- Sarah (email)
- Susan (email)
- Beth (email)
Please send me your postal addresses ladies and a goodie bag will be on its way to you!
While we are on the subject of winners ... I am not sure if I told you that the winner of last month’s Customer Club prize was Mary. She won a set of stamps just for placing an order with me! Each month one of my lovely customers wins a prize – you get one entry in the draw for every £10 you spend. You can find out all about it here. So to be in with a chance of winning place your order with me and this month it could be you!
Now – on to today’s card. It has been a while since I shared a card made with the Fresh Cuts stamp set. This is another versatile set that I am really enjoying using. This card combines it with the lovely dotty paper from the Tea Party Designer Papers and some more of the scrummy stripped grosgrain ribbon. The stamp was coloured with my marker pens in Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Lovely Lilac. I love the girlie zinginess (is there such a word!) of this combination.
I will be back with more Fresh Cuts tomorrow

Super Sunday
Luckily there are already lots of SU things to love already! Today I am going to share a quick card with you.
The base is the scrummy textured card in Certain Celery. The papers are from the Tea Party Set and the stamp is from the Greetings Eight Set – I think I will be using this one a lot.

Stamp on Saturday
Now when it comes to birthdays you just ‘have’ to have cake! So I have used the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set in both projects. They appear everywhere on my Birthday Card Organiser Book, and also feature on this birthday card. Now this card is for a lovely friend of mine who wants to emphasise there being a lot of something always says there are truck loads so for her birthday I hope she has truck loads of cakes!
The truck comes from the Loads of Love Stamp Set, and its wheels are made from the centre of one of the stamps in the Circle of Friendship set while the sentiment is from WOW flowers. The papers are the Sweet Always Papers and the Tea Party Papers – its strange how fitting the names of the papers are sometimes for some people! Colours used are Old Olive, Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Whisper White.
I am also very pleased with this bow – as you may have noticed I don’t have many bows on my cards as I am often not that please with how they turn out. I found this method worked well for me – I am planning a little feature on different ways to use ribbon so will tell you all about how I made it then. I think this little flower button is sooooooo cute – it’s from the Button Latte set.
Now until my friend’s birthday this card will live in my Birthday Card Organiser book.
I have a page for each month and an additional page for those miscellaneous cards we need from time to time. The front and the back were both decorated with the lovely stand of cupcakes in the Crazy for Cupcakes set with the balloons stamped in So Saffron in the Very Vanilla background. If you would like more details on how to make this book please contact me by email - bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

For you on a Friday
To make these 4x4inch cards I stamped the three flowers from the One of a Kind Stamp Set in Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White, and then punched them out using the Boho Blooms Punch. Its great being able to get my flowers cut out that quickly! Next I stamped the large flower from the set in Real Red – I had to cut this one out by hand but using my Snips it was almost as quick and easy. The background layer was stamped with the Scratched Background Stamp and a length of Real Red ribbon wrapped around the bottom. The sentiment is from the Oval All set and it has been layered using the two new oval punches – I Love these – they are so versatile and just brilliant for greetings.
Thanks for stopping by again – see you tomorrow

Thank You Thursday
Today’s card is from a batch of 40 I made to say Thank You to all the people who helped with the play I directed recently. You can find out all about that here, the play was called Whipping It Up. The cast and crew did a wonderful job, the audiences really enjoyed it and to top it off we got an excellent review! There is a bit of a story behind this card – the play was set in the Houses of Parliament. The main characters were from the Conservative Party and were trying to stop a leadership challenge. The rebels talked a lot about only needing a little mistletoe to kill an oak tree.
So there you have it – a card with some Blue (well Tempting Teal!) and an Oak Tree from the wonderful Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set. The Elegant Eggplant layer was stamped with the oak leaf stamp from the set which gave the background a lovely appearance of intricate texture. The sentiment is from th Fresh Cuts Set

Toot Toot - its Tuesday!
The set I used was just crying out for a long thin card. It has been a while since I made a long thin card like this and I enjoyed working with the different shape and proportions. So all aboard, please mind the doors and here is the card!
This quick card was made using Real Red, Glorious Green and Whisper White card. The train tracks were fun to do as they are a Stampin’ Around Wheel and Chocolate Chip ink – so many possibilities with this one – just imagine the train tracks you could design and I think it would make a good fence too! The bits of the train were stamped and cut out before being added to the track with dimensional. The hardest part of this card was deciding on the train’s configuration and colours! All the elements of this set, Choo Choo, are adorable and the puff of steam just finishes of the set perfectly for me.

Sunny Monday!
So in honour of today’s sunshine I thought I would share another card made with the new Soft Summer Stamp Set. Can you tell its one of my new favourites? Well this card uses the other image from the set – just as adorable don’t you think?
Again I have used an Almost Amethyst Card base with papers from the Tea Party Designer Paper Pack, Old Olive ribbon. The images was stamped with Elegant Eggplant and coloured with Almost Amethyst and Certain Celery. I love how bright the Old Olive looks with the Almost Amethyst.
Some of the more observant amongst you will have noticed a rather lovely new blinkie on the side of my blog – that is the other thing that has been giving me a rather warm glow! I entered a couple of cards into the first Stamp With Us Challenge and one got selected as one of the Fave Five – what an honour and totally unexpected as there were some fantastic cards contributed. I can’t wait to have a go at their new challenge so watch this space.

Happy Easter
The centre piece will be this Easter Egg tree – the hanging eggs were made with the lovely new Scalloped Oval Punch and a mix of designer papers (Tea Party and Junior Varsity). For each egg I cut 3 patterned and 3 plain ovals, folded them all in half and stuck them together back to back with a length of moss gingham ribbon through the centre.
In front of each guest will be a small favour – one of these cute little boxes filled with chocolate eggs and decorated with the adorable rabbit from the Forrest Friends Stamp Set. Each box is made from a 6x6 square of paper from the Junior Varsity pack and since its double sided the inside looks pretty too!

More Pizzazz from those Petals
OK – so you spotted it’s a variation on a theme from a few days ago! What I love about this card – apart from the colours is how easy it was to cut the flowers out. Yes they fit inside the Stampin’ Up! Scallop Circle Punch – how great is that! The centre of each flower was then made with a small punched circle of card ensuring that the colours all matched beautifully.
I am also totally in love with this striped grosgrain. Can you believe I am onto my second roll in the Pretty in Pink and the Bashful Blue and there is only a tiny amount left on my So Saffron Roll – that is almost 27m of stripy ribbon I have used. Mind you some of it went into the goodie bags my guests took home from the party – well you can’t have a party without a goodie bag!
Would you like one of these for yourself? Well I have five to give away to people in the UK – leave a comment below or email me bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk and you could be a lucky winner. Winners will be drawn in a weeks time.
I look forward to hearing from you

5,6,7,8 Who do we Appreciate?
The base card is Old Olive and the tree from the Forrest Friends set has been stamped in Old Olive on the left hand side of the card. Stamping with the same colour ink gives a lovely strong watermark effect. The owls were stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink onto Whisper White Card and each was then cut out with the scalloped square punch. These were layered onto a scalloped strip of Chocolate Chip with a layer of Almost Amethyst behind for a little bit of zing.
Have you noticed how restrained I have been with the bad owl puns? Not once have a said Owl be back or what a hoot I am having with this set!

Two posts in one day?
I have made another card for the Stamp With Us Sketch Challenge and I wanted to share that with you today as well. I have really enjoyed playing with this sketch and there is still time for you to join in the fun if you want to. Check out this post for details about Stamp With Us and the special offers I have for those of you who want to join their on line classes.
So here is the card – same basic lay out as the previous card but with a little twist ....
One of the layers is actually a window – with the main image hiding inside the card for double the pleasure, you can see it when the card is open and when the card is closed! The ribbon is attached to the front of the card floating across the window.
For this card I have used a combination of Sage Shaddow and Almost Amethyst. I am loving this colour combination at the moment. The beautiful flower is from the Bloomin’ With Beauty Stamp set which I just had to get having seen what the very talented Kate does with it. Thank you Kate. I am looking forward to playing with this stamp set more I had such a lot of fun colouring it in.
I will be back with another card tomorrow
