As a child one of the things that meant it was almost time for the school holidays was Wimbledon. In our house normal routines were suspended for two weeks and my Mother took to ironing everything so she felt less guilty for spending time in front of the TV! I have been lucky enough to go a few times and love to be able to watch it on TV. This year my pleasure has been interrupted by the World Cup but the wonderful free iphone app has come to my rescue every time there has been football!
The card I am sharing with you today was inspired by Wimbledon – it features the wonderful purple and green with lots of white and a dash of bright yellow (as seen on the balls!). The colours I have used are Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green, Hunter Green and Summer Sun. The stamp sets are Circle Circus and Oval All.
Thanks for stopping by – I am going to watch some more tennis now!

Bin it?
I don’t know about you but sometimes the left over bits from a card are just too pretty to throw away. Well that is what I felt about the scraps from the summer invitations swap I did for our recent team meeting, so there was only one thing to do – make them into cards! You can read the story of the original cards in the post below.
I kept the design pretty similar, just rotating things around a little, changing the sentiment and adding a pretty button.
I am quite pleased with how they turned out.

Box Inspiration
So here it is – or rather they are ... some cards inspired by the gift my lovely upline Monica sent me from Monaco. She worked hard, had a lot of fun & qualified for a free holiday with Stampin’ Up! I really hope to be on the next one and if you would like to find out how you can turn your hobby into a business which is a lot of fun, helps you make some wonderful friends, earns you money from doing what you love and gives you the chance of 5 star luxury email me (bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk) and we can talk about making it happen.
So here is the lovely gift I received from her – well its box anyway! The contents were delicious and did not last long enough to have their photo taken :-D
The box is so pretty that I just had to reach for some Certainly Celery and some Silver Embossing Powder! I needed to make some cards for our team meeting the embossed images were the start point for those. Our theme this month was summer invitations.
And here they are in a little more detail
The layer has been teamed with some Melon Mambo and Bashful Blue and that lovely All A Flutter Butterfly has joined in the fun.
Check back tomorrow to see some cards I made with the off cuts.

Purple Style!
Today I am going to share a card made with one of my favourite colour combinations, Elegant Eggplant with Almost Amethyst, and a stamp that I can’t believe I have not used more – I am certainly going to doing something about that!
The stamp is one of the scrummy background stamps and you know how I love my background stamps – this one is Bella Toile. Having stamped it out I decided it was just too beautiful to use as a background so I stamped it again and coloured some of the areas to highlight them, cut them out and added them back to the card on Dimensionals to give them a little bit of height.
A simple bow with white satin adds to the look of timeless elegance.
Thanks for stopping by – next I am going to make a card inspired by the gift the wonderful Monica sent me from Monaco. She earned a free luxury holiday there with Stampin’ Up! How fab is that. If you want to find out how you could do the same please do email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk and we will arrange to talk.

Yikes! What has or has not happened here?
Eeeek – what has happened to my blog posts from last week? I scheduled you lots of lovely things to look at but they seem to have disappeared into cyberspace – probably operator error – so sorry. Shall I try again? Thank you for continuing to pop by to see if anything has been happening here.
Well Let me see what I can remember ...
Very importantly there was the winner of my blog candy and actually since you have all had to wait so long to find out if yotu were a winner I have decided there are now going to be three winners of samaples of the new colours – so drum roll please ...
Congratulations go to

If you would each email your postal addresses to bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk I will get your goodies on their way to you.
I thought I had also shared several cards with you – I will share them again but today I am going to focus on just on – the one I made for this week’s Stamp With Us Challenge. This week it is a colour challenge – usually my favourites but this one was really hard!
Here is the inspiration picture
Gorgeous colours all but for some reason they did not want to play nicely on my card. I set out to make something clean and simple with a lot of white space.
And ended up with this ...
Not sure where I took a different turn, maybe it was when I was scrunching an attempt up to put it in the bin! The background was made with a piece of photocopier paper. I stamped the En Francais background words on it in Basic Grey. The I took my Cameo Coral Ink Pad and lightly rubbed it over some of the surface. I repeated this with Ruby Red and then Creamy Caramel ink. I ended up with something that looked quite a mess! Next I scrunched it up in a few directions and then opened it out again and lightly swiped the Rich Razzleberry Ink over the top to highlight the creases. I added some more ink around the edges. I was pleased with the results. The focal image is from the Bird on A Branch Stamp Set and combines Real Red and Rich Razzleberry. The greeting is from the Cheers and Wishes Stamp Set.
Dont forget to check out the rest of the design team’s cards – they are wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by and please do come back soon and see if I have beaten the technology and managed to post again!

Anyone for Tea?
For today’s project I am going to share a card I made for a very special ladies birthday – she loves a cup of tea and I am already looking forward to the next time she and I meet up for a cuppa.
Last month was her birthday so, using some of the patterned paper I created for this project, I made her a card which featured the lovely tea cups from the All For Friends Level 2 Hostess Stamp Set. I love this set and all 7 of its gorgeous images. You can earn this set for free if you host a party with sales of over £300 and combined with the current special Hostess offer from Stampin’ Up! (details here) now really is a good time for a Stampin’ Up! get together with your friends. I have a few slots left so do get in touch if I can help you earn this set for free.
Back to the card!
The colours used are Melon Mambo, Not Quite Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry and More Mustard.
All this talk of tea makes me want a cup so just off to put the kettle on!
Happy Stampin’

PS Its still not too late to enter the draw to win a selection of cardstock in the 3 new colour and some matching polka dot ribbon – check this entry here

Birthday Butterflies
Today I am going to share with you another Birthday card – I am still trying to build a stock of birthday cards, for those almost forgotten birthdays, but as soon as I have made them they seem to go out the door! I am sure I will get caught up soon ...
Anyway this card went to a lovely friend whose birthday was at the end of last month. I used some of the babywipe technique butterflies I had left over from this project, added some shimmer with the Champaign Mist Shimmer Paint, and then let them fly across this card! The base of the card is Regal Rose and the Patterned Papers are from the Wonderful Sweet Pea Pack. If you have not got your hands on this pack yet I suggest you do as soon as possible – so many papers, so many looks and such great value – check out the link to the mini catalogue on the right of my blog for all the details.

In my previous house I had a lovely Buddleia Bush which is also known as the Butterfly Bush and at this time of year I used to love watching all the butterflies dancing around it. I wonder if I can persuade my OH that we need one here ...

Hopping Along on a Stamp With Us Sunday
Or should that be Stamp a ma jig Sunday?
Before I explain all that I would like to welcome those of you who have joined us as part of the New Stampin' Up! Colours Blog hop. Its lovely to see you here. Please feel free to take a moment and make yourself right at home. Oh and be sure to read to the end as there are two chances for you to win a prize...
Did you enjoy the lovely projects shared by the equally lovely Peg?
If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that Stampin' Up! are renovating their colour range and that we have just got our hands on some of the new colours. You will also know I am loving using these new colours and as you will find as you follow the blog hop I am not alone! The Demo's who are participating in the hop are all very talented so grab a cuppa and hop around and see what you can find to inspire you.
Today is also the day a new challenge is launched at Stamp With Us and this challenge is a themed challenge and the theme is Get Well. When you see my card you will know why I am calling it Stamp a ma jig Sunday!
The pattern is made from one of the Stamps in the wonderful Framed With Love Stamp Set in the Mini Catalogue. Each image was positioned using my favourite tool the Stamp a ma jig. The bottom rows were stamped in the scrummy Rich Razzleberry, for the middle row I inked the stamp in the beautiful Melon Mambo and the rolled the bottom of the image in Rich Razzleberry, before stamping the top rows in Melon Mambo.
Now, I dont't know about you but when someone is ill I think they also deserve a little something to cheer them up, so I made a matching gift box to go with the card. More Stamp a ma jigged rows of images in Rich Razzleberry decorate this Melon Mambo box. You could put any gift you like in the box but I made it just the right size for a packet of tissues.
Now I mentioned something about a prize ... Well you may have noticed I love my Stamp a ma jig and this month members of my Customer Club have the chance to win one - all they have to do is place an order with me and they get one entry to a pize draw for every £10 they spend (before post and packing). If you want to join them, and you are in the UK, contact me to place an order. If you want to try all the new colours, and I have not even shown you the scrummy Soft Suede today, I am able to offer you some special sample packs gving you the chance to try them all - you can see them here.
And it's not just members of my Customer Club who can win a prize with this blog hop. You can win a selection of card in each of the new colours and a length of each of the matching polka dot ribbons. You can see them all here. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this prize is to leave a comment on this post. I will draw one winner at random next Sunday. So make sure you leave a comment before continuing on to the next step of the blog hop.
Next stop on the blog hop is the lovely Theresa, creator of some very stylish projects so hop on over to her blog and enjoy the rest of the hop.
Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to comment and Happy Stampin'

This card has been brewing for a long time and the new colours were just the kick start I needed to get on and actually take the idea from my head and onto a card.
Everything was then mounted on a layer of Rich Razzleberry. Next I stamped the sentiment from Sincere Salutations inside a frame from Frames with Flourishes. This was mounted on Rich Razzleberry and then holes were punches in each end. Some of the gorgeous White Satin Ribbon was threaded through and tied in a bow round the card before mounting the whole thing on a Melon Mambo base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
One of the images from Tiny Tags reminds me of the image I have used on this card so, with more help from my Stamp a ma jig, I stamped a row of these cute little flourishes along the bottom of the insert of my card.
