Fresh Fruit Flowers and Butterflies Birthday Card Featuring the Suite of the Week - Fruit Stand from Stampin' Up! UK

I hope you are enjoying this Suite of the Week series featuring the mouthwatering Fruit Stand Suite from Stampin' Up! UK, can you believe we are half way through already?  And I still have not shown you a card with the delightful flowers from the set on it.  Today I am putting that right!

You will I hope share my joy at having found some butterflies in the stamp set.  

They are made by cutting one of the petals out of the flower once stamped  How cute are they!

I also love how the flowers layer up to make the pretty flowers in the background.

Tomorrow I have another card to share with you - again featuring the Fruit Stand Suite but there is not a single flower or piece of fruit on it - you will have to check back to see it!

Anyone for Tennis Card Featuring the Suite of the Week - Fruit Stand from Stampin' Up! UK

I promised you something different for today's card in the Fruit Stand Suite of the Week series, and here it is ... Tennis Balls!

One of the reasons I chose this Suite to be our first Suite of the Week was because the scrummy strawberries reminded me of Wimbledon - did you know that according the the BBC one hundred and forty two thousand punnets of strawberries are ripened to perfection for the event!  As I played with the stamp set I thought the peaches looked a bit like tennis balls and this card was born.

The gorgeous papers in this suite have fruity and floral patterns as well as softer spotty and stripey patterns.

The sentiment was stamped using the new Brushwork Alphabet stamp set - isn't the font gorgeous

Perfect Pair Birthday Card Featuring the Suite of the Week - Fruit Stand from Stampin' Up! UK

Welcome to day 2 of Suite of the Week featuring the Fruit Stand Suite from Stampin' Up! UK, and today I am going to share a card which made me feel like an artistic genius when I made it!  As a child I was often told I was rubbish at art and was even asked not to take art at exam level - and I will admit that my drawing is not the best so thank goodness for stamping.

The beautiful outline stamps in the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set made creating this watercoloured pear fun and easy.  I stamped onto some Watercolour Paper using some Always Artichoke Ink then blended in some Pear Pizzazz - well it had to be done!  There is also some Old Olive on the leaves.

I am really pleased with how it came out.

Who knew a stamp set could take me from Artistic Dunce to Happy Artist!
