Knock Knock

Dear Blog

Please forgive me for ignoring you for so long, please don’t take it personally but other things have been distracting me. I am sorry.

My day at the NEC with Stampin’ Up! was fantastic. It was fun to spend all day talking about one of my favourite things with lovely people who were interested. It was great to spend a day with adorable Jo and Kara who are fellow demonstrators and of course with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! staff.

I have been doing very little crafting as the play I am directing opened last week – the last couple of weeks before a show are always really time consuming. The show is going well so far and I am looking forward to tonight’s performance. If you are in the Dunstable area do come and see it – there are a few tickets left. You can find out all about it here.

This Saturday I met with the lovely people who come to my card class. They all did an amazing job of the birthday card organiser I had designed for them – each creating a wonderful and unique book that reflected their style and creativity. I find them so inspiring. If you would like to join them our next class is on April 25th and we will be making a selection of Birthday Cards.

I also wanted to let you all know about a party I am having – to celebrate the launch of the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue. You could be amongst the first people to try the stunning new products that are in it. As well as making a card using some of the new products there will be refreshments, time to chat and the chance to win some lovely prizes.

Products from the new catalogue will be available for purchase from the start of April so I will also be making some very special launch offers to those who place their order at the party.

The party is on Tuesday 31 March at the Little Theatre, High Street South, Dunstable. You can drop by anytime between 2 and 4pm or between 6 and 8.30pm

If you are unable to make the party but want to find out about these special offers let me know.

Oh and I have been nominated for an award - how lovely is that. Thank you Nicci - you made me blush!

I promise I will be back soon with pictures of some of the crafting I have managed to do!

In the meantime

Happy Crafting

PS – don’t forget this months special offers – 25% off Chipboard until the end of the month and until the 25th a reduced price for those wanting to join my team. Check out the special offers tab

I'm so excited ...

There are five really exciting things I need to tell you and I don’t know where to start!

A Mini Catalogue

Stampin’ Up! have announced that we are going to have a Mini Catalogue – its packed with adorable stamp sets, scrummy accessories, ribbons to die for and some fab papers. Even better than that as a demo I have been able to order some of these things in advance of the official catalogue launch. I can’t wait to play with them and show you what I come up with. If you are in the UK and want a paper copy of the catalogue send me an email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk . If you would like to see a copy of the catalogue on line click here or see the sidebar on the right of my blog.

Now if you want to be amongst the first people to get hold of these wonderful goodies send me an
email entitled PREORDER, letting me know what you would to order. Now since I would like you all to share in my excitement, and I want to see what you all create with your new goodies, I am also going to give you Free Post and Packing on all orders over £50.00. Additionally as a member of my customer club you will be entered into April’s draw for a special prizes (which will be from the new mini-catalogue) and yes I did say prizes!

There is however a way to get goodies from the mini catalogue even sooner – join my team by signing up as a demonstrator, which leads me to the second thing that I am really excited about

Sign up and Save

Between 12 and 25 March if you join my team you will get 10% off the regular starter kit price.

That means for £125 you get over £240 worth of goods. You will also get access to all your SU goodies at a discount, be able to pre-order from the mini-catalogue at a special reduced price, the ability to make money from your hobby if you want to, a unique special gift from me to help you build your business and as much support as you want or need.

Can you see why I am excited – and that is not everything yet!

The Hobbycraft show opens at the NEC this Thursday – Stampin’ Up! are going to be there. Its a fantastic show and I am excited to share with you that I will be on the stand on Saturday (14th). Also there will be some other wonderful people and it would be great to meet you – I hope you will be able to stop by and say hello.

Mini Party

I don’t know about you but I love parties so I thought that the launch of the mini catalogue was a good excuse for a party! It won’t however be a mini party! There will be all the things you would expect, refreshments, chocolates, a chance to chat with likeminded people, to see projects made with things from the new mini catalogue, to swap ideas, and to play some fun games. Oh and how could I forget the chance to make a special project too featuring stamps from the new mini catalogue. All my customers and blog readers are invited – just let me know if you want to come – it will be in the Dunstable Area on Tuesday 31st March.

An award
The amazingly talented and lovely Kate has given me this award. Thank you Kate it is soooooooo lovely of you.

Whoooooooooooo – I don’t know about you but after all that excitement I need a sit down!

I look forward to hearing from you

I will be back with projects for you soon

Are you sitting Comfortably?

Gosh – in all the excitement I did not get to post! I have had a lovely and fun filled week so get yourself a cup of coffee I have lots to tell you ...

Firstly, hello and thank you to the lovely ladies who came to my card making class on Saturday – here are some photos of the projects we made. Our theme was spring and Easter, so lots of flowers and chocolate – both card colour and real!

We had a lot of fun playing with our punches and some of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. I am sad that Sale-A-Bration has now finished – I loved being able to offer my customers free stamp sets so this month I am launching a Customer Club and this prize one lucky club member will win a set of stamps. To become a member of my Customer Club all you have to do is place an order with me - yes it really is that simple! For each £10 you spend with me you will get one entry into that months Customer Club Draw and this month you can win one of the no longer available Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets. There are more details of the club here.
The rabbits on and in this card were made from punched shapes and their ears are the petals from the Pick a Petal Stamp Set - and yes the ones inside do have a chocolate in them!

The flowers on both the next two cards were made from punched shapes – the first a scalloped circle and a small circle – we stamped the Polka Dot Punches Sale-A-Bration Stamp set, punched it out and then cut down between each scallop to form the petals before sticking a small circle in the middle.

I love how the Daffodils on this card turned out! We stamped two of the five petal flower from Polka Dot Punches and then punched them both out. We then punched out the centre circle of one of the flowers. The two bases were then stuck together lightly before the centre was reattached using Dimensional Pads.
Now this stamp set is no longer available so if you want it you had better join my Customer Club to be in with a chance of winning it!

My next card class is on Saturday 21 March and we are going to be making a Birthday Card Organiser as well as a special Mothers Day Card. If you would like to come along we would love to have you join us, please just get in touch to book your place. You can find out a bit more about the classes here.

The next very exciting bit of news is that there is a new Stampin’ Up! Promotion this month – Between now and the end of March you can get 25% off the On Board Chipboard. I am going to be having a lot of fun with Chipboard this month so watch this space for samples soon! It is great for adding texture and dimension to your projects, is easy to decorate in lots of different ways and it looks good naked!
I went to a Craft Fair at Woburn Safari Park on Sunday – Hello to everyone I met there. There were some amazingly talented people there and I came home with some lovely things and a very long wish list! Entry also included entry to the Safari Park so I did take a quick trip round which was fun.

Now I have not forgotten my promise of more cupcakes and a new way to tie a bow, but since you have probably got to the bottom of your cuppa I will post those in the next few days.

Happy crafting
