Are you sitting Comfortably?

Gosh – in all the excitement I did not get to post! I have had a lovely and fun filled week so get yourself a cup of coffee I have lots to tell you ...

Firstly, hello and thank you to the lovely ladies who came to my card making class on Saturday – here are some photos of the projects we made. Our theme was spring and Easter, so lots of flowers and chocolate – both card colour and real!

We had a lot of fun playing with our punches and some of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets. I am sad that Sale-A-Bration has now finished – I loved being able to offer my customers free stamp sets so this month I am launching a Customer Club and this prize one lucky club member will win a set of stamps. To become a member of my Customer Club all you have to do is place an order with me - yes it really is that simple! For each £10 you spend with me you will get one entry into that months Customer Club Draw and this month you can win one of the no longer available Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets. There are more details of the club here.
The rabbits on and in this card were made from punched shapes and their ears are the petals from the Pick a Petal Stamp Set - and yes the ones inside do have a chocolate in them!

The flowers on both the next two cards were made from punched shapes – the first a scalloped circle and a small circle – we stamped the Polka Dot Punches Sale-A-Bration Stamp set, punched it out and then cut down between each scallop to form the petals before sticking a small circle in the middle.

I love how the Daffodils on this card turned out! We stamped two of the five petal flower from Polka Dot Punches and then punched them both out. We then punched out the centre circle of one of the flowers. The two bases were then stuck together lightly before the centre was reattached using Dimensional Pads.
Now this stamp set is no longer available so if you want it you had better join my Customer Club to be in with a chance of winning it!

My next card class is on Saturday 21 March and we are going to be making a Birthday Card Organiser as well as a special Mothers Day Card. If you would like to come along we would love to have you join us, please just get in touch to book your place. You can find out a bit more about the classes here.

The next very exciting bit of news is that there is a new Stampin’ Up! Promotion this month – Between now and the end of March you can get 25% off the On Board Chipboard. I am going to be having a lot of fun with Chipboard this month so watch this space for samples soon! It is great for adding texture and dimension to your projects, is easy to decorate in lots of different ways and it looks good naked!
I went to a Craft Fair at Woburn Safari Park on Sunday – Hello to everyone I met there. There were some amazingly talented people there and I came home with some lovely things and a very long wish list! Entry also included entry to the Safari Park so I did take a quick trip round which was fun.

Now I have not forgotten my promise of more cupcakes and a new way to tie a bow, but since you have probably got to the bottom of your cuppa I will post those in the next few days.

Happy crafting

Bekka

  2. Hi Bekka, hope you're having a lovely weekend.

Thanks for the support for the PTI blog - I'm not sure where you find out if you've qualified for that anniversary set, lat week there was a link on the website which told you if you'd earned it but I can't see it anymore. I guess you could email them to find out. If you haven't earned it there may be a way of getting a set on our blog ;)

There's an award for you on my blog, hugs Kate xx
