Easter Bonnet

I was recently asked what I do with my empty Stampin’ Up! Button Boxes. Well they have lots of uses, keeping daubers in once they are inky, holding part made bits to go on cards and projects, storing trimmer blades etc etc. The sometimes I use them on actual projects, projects like today’s offering...

An Easter Bonnet

Stampin' Up! Easter Bonnet
To make this pretty little Easter Bonnet I have attached the base of the button box (which I did wash out first!) to a large scallop circle of So Saffron card. This was cut using the Scallop Circle Die and then was run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder to give the straw hat look. I then added a strip of card to the side of the box and another circle (cut with the circles die) to the lid. A Pretty In Pink ribbon and this cute little treat just needs some sugar eggs and its good to go!

Now the challenge is not to just reach in and have one of those eggs! All supplies (apart from the actual eggs) are available from me – just drop me an email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Happy Stampin’
