Cloudy Sky's at Pitstone Windmill

This week I am going to share some 6x6 inch Scrapbook Pages with you. I love scrapping in 12x12 inches but when I first started I found the size of them somewhat intimidating and I much preferred making smaller pages – they just seemed like large square cards then!

I do still really enjoy smaller pages and when I printed off a whole load of Instagram Photos I decided to make some 6x6 inch pages. Instagram is an application I have on my phone which allows you to manipulate your photos and apply filters to them giving some interesting results. The pictures I take with my phone tend to be of things I see when I am out and about and which make me smile. Small pages without much journaling is a great way to go with these pictures.

Near us we have a wonderful Windmill and last time I went for a walk there the sky was really beautiful.

Pitstone Windmill Scrapbook Page
On this page I have decorated the background card stock with a cloud effect. It was fun and simple to do using daubers, a scallop circle and an assortment of inks. Email me, bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk if you need more details on how to achieve this effect.  I intend to keep these pages in date order with index pages so all that was left to do was to add the title!

So what would you take a picture of today that makes you smile?  Why not take that photo and make it into something to smile at ...
