Find Out About Friday - Grosgrain Ribbon

One of the most used things in my craft space has to be my ribbons, yet before I discovered Stampin’ Up! I hardly ever used them. This was mostly as I could never find ribbon that really went with my projects so having a range or ribbons that really coordinate has made all the difference!

The first ribbons I discovered were Stampin’ Up!’s wonderful Grosgrain Ribbons – they are currently available in 13 colours and 2 different widths, ¼ inch and 5/8 inch. There are also currently 11 beautiful wide striped Grosgrains.

The Stampin’ Up! Grosgrain Ribbons are made of polyester and all coordinate beautifully with the Stampin’ Up! colour collections. Many of them are also retiring to make way for some exciting new ribbons. You can find the complete list here – it includes lots of ribbons I use a lot!

The question I am asked most often about this ribbon is how to pronounce its name – the answer is grow-grain.
