12 in 12 - The February Challenge

So today is 12 February so its time for this month's 12 in 12 Challenge.  I want to make sure that this year I get lots  of crafty play time and I hope that you do to.  To help us all with this each month I will set a challenge that is a starting point for us to make what ever you want - be it a card, a scrapbook page, a fabric or yarn  project or anything else that you want!  All you have to do is make a date with your craft space and play along.
Feeling Crafty 12 in 12 Challenge

Its almost Valentines Day, so I thought our theme for this month should be 'Share the Love'  Your challenge is to make something combining a product or technique you love with something that you have neglected or never really loved.  This could be a stamp set that has been sat gathering dust, a colour you never use, a sheet of patterned paper you have been ignoring or a tool or gadget that has been sat at the back of the cupboard for too long.

When I looked at the projects I have made in the last six months or so I noticed a distinct lack of pink.  I also noticed that my Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder had not been out of the box for quiet a while either.  So these two elements were my starting point as neglected products!  Now everyone knows I love my Beautiful Wings Ebosslit (no chance of that being neglected!) so that was the obvious choice for what to combine them with - and here is the result
Soft Pink and Turquoise Card

In fact I liked it so much I made more!  The colour combination is Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

I hope you feel inspired to join in this challenge and to combine something you have been neglecting with a current crafting crush!  If you do please email me a picture of your creation - bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Have fun and Happy Stampin'
