My Little Valentine Basket

I am really enjoying playing with the new My Little Valentine Stamp Set and the Sealed with Love Simply Sent Kit that Stampin' Up! are giving away free with it.  If you want to enjoy this stamp set too you need to hurry - it is only available to purchase until 21 January!

Today I am going to show you a little basket of cute notes made using the stamps and one of the envelopes from the Simply Sent Kit.

It had been a while since I used my butterfly punch so I thought it was time I put that right - here is a close up of the basket.  The larger butterfly is from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit

I love how well these envelopes go with the Bordering on Romance Stamp Set, so I have used one of the images for the background on the cute little For You cards inside the basket.

As I mentioned the My Little Valentine Stamp Set is only available until 21 January.  It costs just £9.95 and with it Stampin' Up! will give you a Sealed with Love Simply Sent Kit.  Additionally if you purchase this stamp set through me I will send you tutorials on how to make the three projects featured on this post.

  2. Hi Donna

Yes the basket is made by folding one of the envelopes

Its quite hard to explain without pictures but I will try! First I scored either side of one of the points of the long sides of the envelope. Next I folded the long flaps in and then folded on the score lines I had just made. The I took the end of the score line by the point of the flap and folded it over so it sat along the side fold (this is where a picture would be really handy!). I repeated this on all four ends of the score lines and the basket folds up and I added the handle and decorations.

If I can get hold of another envelope I will make another one and take photos along the way.

In the mean time I hope this helps
