I make no secret of the fact that I love my This and That Journal / Smash Book from Stampin' Up! and I am enjoying recording the stuff that is my every day life. Sometime however I just need more space on a page so for this week's Find Out About Friday I am going to share 5 easy ways to make more space on your pages
1. Add an envelope to the page and put additional items and additional sheets of paper inside it
2. Using Washi Tape, create a hinge to attach a sheet of paper, ticket or other items you want to keep - that way you can see both sides of the item and use the paper underneath
3. Use Clips. Thread your paper clips through the binding of the book and then attach a page in them
4. Create a pocket - using either paper or something you want to keep in your journal and some Washi Tape create a pocket in your page and use the pocket to store extra items
5. Create a fold out - add your journalling / pictures to a seperate piece of paper, fold it and only attach the back to your page. This will allow you to create extra space and to hide any journalling you don't want to see straight away
I hope you find these five ways of creating extra space in your This and That Journal / Smash Book easy, fun and helpful. For more ideas on how to get the most from your This and That Journal / Smash Book check out this post.
Happy Stampin'
These are great ideas. Even if you're not running out of space I think adding extra loose pages in makes things more interesting and I'm always looking for new ways to do that without extra bulk!
