For this week's Find Out About Friday I am going to show you an easy way to make a lattice border such as this one for your cards and scrapbook pages
This striking and stylish effect can be easily obtained using the Chevron Border Punch from Stampin' Up! It can also be obtained with intricate cutting and folding, but I find this method much quicker and easier!
Firstly you punch a chevron border where you want your lattice work to be. The punch will leave you some v shaped off cuts - do not throw these away. Turn your project over and apply some adhesive to the back of the chevrons. Take the v shaped off cuts and stick them on as shown below. I have used chevrons of another colour so you can see the placement more easily.
When you turn your project back over you will have a beautiful lattice border.
You can order your Chevron Punch here
This is one of the techniques covered at this month's card making class - if you would like to join us for future classes check out the details here.
