At the start of the year many people make some New Year's Resolutions, but that does not really work for me so instead I like to choose a word to guide my year and make a list of my hopes for the year, the things I intend to do or achieve during the year. In recent years I have found making a scrapbook page featuring these intentions has helped me firm them up and has made a great page for the start of the year in my Scrapbook. So without further ado here is this year's page.
The papers are from the Venetian Romance Collection and I have used some of my other favourite things on this page too, the Beautifully Baroque Stamp, the Elegant Butterfly Punch, Pearls and the Scalloped Circle from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. The letters and numbers were cut with the Typeset Alphabet Die. I have also used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder as a stamp on the left hand side of the page to add some very subtle detail, not sure how well it shows in the photo, we had some very interesting weather as I was trying to take a photo of the page - thunder, lightening and enough hail to leave the ground looking like this!
What are your hopes for 2014? Why not make a scrapbook page about them ... If one of the things you want to do in 2014 is to learn to Scrapbook or to do more Scrapbooking then check out the Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club here.
