Life Does Not Have to be Perfect but with Perfect Pennants in Trendy Neutrals with a splash of Gold it comes pretty close!

Inspired by the Spring 2014 Crafting Trends I shared with you last Friday at this month's Perfect Pennants Card Making Class we made this card featuring lots of lovely neutrals and a splash of gold.
Life Does Not Have to be Perfect but with Perfect Pennants in Trendy Neutrals with a splash of Gold it comes pretty close!

The neutrals we used were Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Naturals Ivory.  The Crumb Cake Layer was stamped with the wonderful Hardwood Background Stamp adding to the lovely natural feel of the card.  The Naturals Ivory Banner was embossed with the Arrows Embossing Folder and the final banner was cut from the delicious Gold Fancy Foil Embossed Vellum.  The sentiment is from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set and all the banners were cut using the Banner Framelits - did you know you save 15% when you purchase them together - and I know you will use them both a lot!  Our final touch of gold was added with the Gold Bakers Twine.

If you were unable to attend on Saturday and would still like to take the Perfect Pennants Card Class it is either available by post or I am running a catch up session on Tuesday 25 March - email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk for details.  If you would like to attend our next monthly card making class it is on Saturday 12 April - we will be making a collection of Spring and Easter Cards featuring the delightful Storybook Friends Stamps.  You can find the details here.

All the cards we did on the class were great, but I think this one was my favourite. It's even better in real life, that vellum... Always have a great time on your classes.
