Weather Together Umbrellas To Send Cheering Wishes - with a quick tutorial on how to make the background.

Sometimes the world throws everything it has at people we care about and we just want to make it better for them.  For those times we can't be there in person a card can make all the difference.

I love the wishing you brighter days sentiment in the Weather Together Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! UK - it seems so much more hopeful and positive than 'thinking of you'.

The background for this card was made my soaking some Watercolour Paper with an Aqua Painter.  The Aqua Painter was then used to pick up and just splosh on some colour.  The colours then run on the already wet paper.

Once it was dry I flicked the Gold Wink Of Stella Brush over the top.  Make sure you have some grid paper or scrap paper underneath and as much space as you can around your project for this step as the Gold Sparkly Ink will go all round your project!  I then stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Ink.

I hope you have fun with this technique - and would love to see what you create
