Tropical Birthday Card

As I sit here today dreaming of sunnier warmer days I thought I would share a tropical card with you today.  It is one I taught a few months ago but realise I never shared with you.

The bright tropical leaves make a great background for the fun Flamingo.

Bright Floral Hello Card with a Video Tutorial

When I made this video to show you how to make a Water Colour Effect Background with your Solid Stamps, I had a pretty background left over and I thought it was about time I made it up into a card!

I love the bright colours and had fun layering up some elements that were sat on my desk to make this fun and happy hello card.

The doily was cut in half and attached with some of the beautiful copper spotted Washi Tape - so sparkly and easy!

Tropical Thank You Cards made with Stampin' Up! UK Supplies

Do you remember last week I told you about a bit of a colour crush I am having inspired by this collection of accessories ...

Well today I have another card inspired by it and the mini heat wave we seem to be having.

What could be better on a baking hot day than sitting surrounded by tropical leaves!  These ones are from the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set.

Hello Swirly Bird Card For A Glasgow Team Day

Today I have another card you might want to send just to say hello to someone.  It features the gorgeous Swirly Bird Stamp Set which I think is probably one of my favourite stamp sets in the current Stampin' Up! Catalogue - I have used it lots and I still have not used every stamp in the set!

 I rather like this colour combination of Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Rose Red and Sweet Sugar Plum.  How about you?

I made these card for a visit to my wonderful team in Scotland last month - we have so much fun when  we get together and I even remembered to take a photo of everyone this time!
