Hello Pineapple Card

There is something about eating fresh Pineapple that makes me feel it is summer - so when I saw the Pineapple Image in the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set I knew I wanted to make something with it in bright summer colours.

What do you think?  Nope I have never seen a blue pineapple either, but the card still makes me smile!

#IFoundAFlamingo A Fashionable Flamingo Thank You Card

It seems to me that Flamingo's are invading - everywhere I go and everywhere I look there seem to be Flamingos!  And yes that includes my lovely new Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

How beautiful is this suite of products.

And of course I just had to have a play.

When I first get a stamp set I often start with a quick to make card like this one, just to get the stamps inky! I love how fashionable this image is and can't wait to play more.

Swirly Scribbles Butterfly Birthday Card

I don't know why, but it always surprises me that when I add something new to my crafty stash it breathes new life into the things I already have.  The card I am sharing today is an example of that.

When I was playing with the gorgeous new Swirly Scribbles Dies from Stampin' Up! UK I loved how they looked just lined up along the side of a card, and when wondering what to add next the answer was of course butterflies!  Here I used a butterfly set which has been in my collection for years, but which had been a bit neglected, the gorgeous Papillon Potpourri Stamps.

I am also loving how the new Sweet Sugarplum colour looks with Pool Party - what do you think?

Foxy Friends - A Cute Card for Any Occasion

Make in a Moment Monday - Swirly Bird Floral Birthday Card

I am totally in love with the New Swirly Bird Stamp Set and matching Dies from Stampin' Up! UK and I could not resist using them for this week's Make In A Moment Card.

Here I have stamped the large Swirls on a scrap of paper before stamping them on my card to give an even softer look, and then stamped the small swirl in the middle.  I love how many variations of one ink colour you can get using your ink pads in this way.

And of course I wanted to add a little sparkle - and here I have used the gorgeous new Copper and White Washi Tape from the  Affectionately Yours Collection, just delicious with the soft browns on this card and so quick and easy to do.
