Snow Business

We have been have had snow here, and lots of it but our standards. Since its not that common an event, when it snows in the UK everything stops – schools, businesses, transport, everything. So yesterday I was pleased I was at home all day – lovely and warm while watching the snow fall. I love the way snow looks, especially when I am warm and dry, and preferably with a warm cup of coffee in my hands.
I do like to go out in fresh snow too – there is something magical about how it feels underfoot and how quiet everything in. I was not able to venture far yesterday so here are some shots from my back and front doors! One day I will share some non snowy pictures of my garden with you ...

I had a wonderful time at the card class on Saturday – thank you to everyone who came – the cards you made were fantastic. We had people there who had made cards before as well as those who had never tried it before. I loved what you all did with the class, Thank you. I will share the cards we made with you over the next few days. The next class is on Saturday 28 February and if you would like to join us please send me an email to bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk or check it out here on Facebook. We will be making Spring and Easter Cards, so there will be a combination of some of my favourite things, card making, chocolate and flowers! Mind you with all this snow spring seems a long way off!

Today I wanted to share something else made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! products with you – a necklace.
I have been drooling over the scrummy felt accents and elements collection for quite a while now and decided that it was time to actually use them, so I decided to make something I could keep and enjoy over and over, so I threaded a number of them onto the Stampin’ Up Silver chord which looks like a fine round silver chain. Each flower cluster was secured with a pearl from the Pretties kit and the whole thing knotted together at the back – its elastic so easy to get on and off.
I think I am going to make a bracelet to match and already have put some of the flowers behind some cheap pearl earrings I never wear! The accents and elements kit is full of scrummy goodness and great value too, you get more than 130 pieces in Rose Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie for just £11.75. So what would you do with yours?
Keep warm and Happy Crafting
