How To Make the Wonderland Trees look Watercoloured

I had a wonderful day with some of my team in Glasgow this weekend - what a fun and inspiring group of people they are.  One of the things we do when we get together is to share ideas and inspiration, and one of the ways we do this is making cards to share with each other.  Today I am going to share the card I made to share with them. I had so much fun making them I made over 30!

I am loving this Wonderland Stamp Set - I tried so hard to resist it but I totally failed!  In fact I have decided that it will be our Stamp Set for October Christmas Card Club - for just £35 you will get all the card and embelishiments you need to make 16 cards as well as the stamp set in clear mount.  The class is available in person or by post and you can book your place here.

The stamp set is not however just for Christmas as I hope this card illustrates.  I had a lot of fun making these trees look watercoloured.  To get the effect I coloured each tree with a Stampin' Write Marker and then lightly spritzed with water before stamping them.  I love how they all turned out.  I then put some Dazzling Details on each to make it sparkle a little.
