How Old? Retro Fresh Birthday Card great for boys and girls of any age!

I love the colours and the modern twist on retro patterns that are found in the Retro Fresh Designed Series Papers from Stampin' Up! so I decided to let them take front and center on this Birthday Card.

The patterned paper was mounted onto a piece of Coastal Cabana Card and an opening was cut with the Word Bubble Framelits.  The sentiment, You're How Old is from the Just Sayin' Stamp Set and was stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla Card and mounted behind the cut out window.  The card base is Baked Brown Sugar.

Yippee! It's a Storybook Friends Quick Card

Today I have a very quick project to share with you - I know that sometimes, like me, you don't have a lot of time to spend making a card and this card and its envelope only took me three or four minutes! 

The Envelopes were made using my Envelope Punch Board - and that certainly sped things up - I love how easy it is to use and what a difference it can make to a couple of quick cards.  The paper are from the Retro Fresh Collection.  The cards themselves were cut from Natural Ivory Card Stock and then the adorable dog from the Storybook Friends Stamp Set was stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and then lightly coloured by pulling the ink in with my blender pen.

I love how happy and excited this dog looks - and that is how I feel about the Feeling Crafty Card Making Classes too!  The next class features this adorable stamp set with six happy animals that are reminiscent of old fashioned children's storybooks.  You can find all the class details here - there are now two dates and two places you can attend this class in person and there is a postal version available too.  To book any of them just email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Scrapbook Saturday - Retro Fresh Scrapbook Page

Today I am going to share a page from last month's Scrapbook Club - we featured the gorgeous Retro Fresh Designer Series Papers and the Coordinating Journaling Cards (some have been turned over to create additional patterns).  We also used the lovely Banner Punch which you can get for free between now and the end of March.

Scrapbook Saturday - Inspiration Start Point using Retro Fresh Papers

Yesterday I offered a challenge to my team of lovely Stampin' Superstars - and their challenge is to use the page I am going to share with you as a start point for their own project.  Their projects can be scrapbook pages, cards or anything else they want - it just has to use this as their start point.

This page features the lovely Retro Fresh Designer Series Papers and a Tag from the coordinating Retro Fresh Designer Series Tags.  I love the combination of colours in these papers and find myself having to remember that there are other colours!

Scrapbook Saturday - Retro Fresh Oh Snap!

At this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club we featured the gorgeous Retro Fresh Papers and the coordinating Journaling Tags.  Using a number of pre-prepared elements like the Journaling Tags made Scrapping fast and fun and the tags are double sided so nothing goes to waste!

If you would like one of this month's kits to make the pages at home please email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk The kit costs just £15 and contains enough materials to make in this case, at least 6 12x12 pages.  You will be sent photos of the six inspiration pages I made for club.
