How Old? Retro Fresh Birthday Card great for boys and girls of any age!

I love the colours and the modern twist on retro patterns that are found in the Retro Fresh Designed Series Papers from Stampin' Up! so I decided to let them take front and center on this Birthday Card.

The patterned paper was mounted onto a piece of Coastal Cabana Card and an opening was cut with the Word Bubble Framelits.  The sentiment, You're How Old is from the Just Sayin' Stamp Set and was stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla Card and mounted behind the cut out window.  The card base is Baked Brown Sugar.

Enjoying the Word Bubble Framelits

Sometimes on a Wednesday we all need a bit of a cheer up and so today I am going to show you a fun card made with the Word Bubble Framelits!  I had a lot of fun making this card so when it came to choosing the sentiment there was only one that I could choose - the gorgeous Enjoy sentiment from the Simply Celebrate Stamp Set

The Word Bubble Framelits were cut from some Crumb Cake Card and then mounted onto a sheet of paper from the delightful Fresh Prints Paper Stack.

Word Bubble Thank You Card

I have another Happy Mail card to share with you today - this one a thank you card featuring the fab new Word Bubble Framelits.

To make this card I cut a number of word bubbles and added some shading using the techniques I shared in this tutorial.  I stamped the Thank You Greeting from the Happy Watercolor Stamp Set on one and then arranged them on a matching Crumb Cake base.  This was mounted on a layer of Tempting Turquoise and a Crumb Cake Base.
