Today I have something a little different for you - it has been a while since I showed you a home decor project and I thought it was about time!  As soon as I saw this adorable stamp set and punch I knew I wanted to make a picture with it and when we were shown one on the Stampin' Up! Cruise the plan solidified ...

How adorable is that.  Just imagine adding a name underneath and it would make a fantastic gift for a new baby.

Swirly Bird Floral Thank You Card

Yesterday I shared a card featuring the gorgeous Swirly Scribbles Die and today I am going to share another card which uses it in a totally different way and features the matching Stamp Set.  The matching Stamp Set is called Swirly Bird, but as you can see from today's card it is not all about birds!

I love these swirls and how they can look like flowers - so fun.  I have also used one of them to decorate the butterfly.

If you are wondering where I used the Swirly Scribbles Die - the answer is I used it to create the beautiful curvy edge to the floral layer - and as a bonus I have a the long lines all cut out and ready for another project.  Is it just me who has a box of cut out pieces just waiting for the right project?

My Swaps for the Stampin' Up! Global Incentive Trip featuring Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and Papillon Potpourri Butterflies

This year's Global Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip was amazing - a wonderful week with incredible and inspiring people.  We saw some amazing places and were showed with gifts from Stampin' Up!  This was my 6th incentive trip and I still find it hard to believe that I can earn trips like these just for sharing my love of paper crafting!  

One of the things we do on these trips is make and share swaps so today I thought I would share the swaps I made with you.

I am totally in love with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and so decided to use those on my swaps.  The Thinlits are incredibly versatile and there is a stamp set that goes with them too (and if you purchase the two together - which I definitely recommend, you will save 10% too!)

Being swaps from me I definitely had to include some butterflies!
