Monster Hugs Cards

I have heard it said that a card is a hug with a fold in the middle, which is a lovely thought.  Today's cards take that to the next level - they feature the adorable Monster Hugs.  

 These adorable little monsters with their super long arms are designed to hold a little treat, there is even some adhesive to hold it in place, however I thought they would look lovely on a card too.

To make these cards I have used some Monster Hugs Girl and some Monster Hugs Boys and mounted them onto a layer of Whisper White which has been embossed using a new embossing folder which you will be able to earn for free very soon.  The card base is Coastal Cabanna and there is a layer of Brushed Gold as well.  Gold is going to be a very fashionable colour this season.  The main birthday greeting is from the Four You Stamp Set and inside are some hugs and kisses from the cute Oh Goodie! Stamp Set, both are stamped in Coastal Cabanna.  I have also used both the Word Window and the Ticket Punches.

The only thing that makes me a bit sad about these cards is that you can't see the adorable backs of the monsters - check out this link to see what I mean!  The Monster Hugs are only available until 27 January so make sure you get them before its too late
