Counting Sheep - A Storybook Friends Card

Today I have another Storybook Friends Card for you, this time featuring the lovely lambs.  There is something about watching lambs playing in fields that always makes me smile and this card reminds me of that.

Each of the cute creatures in the Storybook Friends Stamp Set comes with a greeting attached.  I purchased my Stamp Set in Clear Mount so I could easily cut off the greetings.  This means I can use the animals either with or without their greeting and I can even swap the greetings around or even use those on their own or with other stamp sets.  Being able to do this takes this stamp set from fun to extremely versatile in my books!

For this card I have stamped the lamb three times using a mask to create this effect.  they have been stamped onto the front of one of the Watercolor Note Cards - the back was then used for another card!  The leaves behind the flowers were cut from the back of another of the Note Cards using the Little Leaves Die - this was then cut to give the branch the shape I wanted for this card.  The flowers were made using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack Scallop Circle and a small Pearl.

This was one of the cards we made at this month's Card Making Class - if you would like to know about future classes please check them out here - we would love to see you in class and craft with you.
