Project Life is one of the largest trends in Scrapbooking and earlier this week Stampin' Up! announced a very exciting collaboration with Becky Higgins creator of Project Life. From late June you will be able to purchase these authentic Project Life products featuring exclusive Stampin' Up! Colours and coordination here in the UK.
I am so excited and I love scrapping Project Life Style with my existing Stampin' Up! products - just imagine how much more fun it is going to be with the real deal! I know I will get a lot more pages made and photos off my computer and into my albums. I will continue to make more traditional pages too, and am looking forward to mixing them in my albums.
Last weekend we had our team training and today I am going to share the page I designed and demonstrated for them, with you. It was entirely inspired by the Project Life style of Scrapbooking and Project Life type Pages!
I have used a piece of Crumb Cake Card which I scored to divide it up and then added elements and journaling cards to it. On the page I have used the Around the World Stamp Set and the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set which are both fantastic or this kind of page. The page also features papers from the Fresh Prints Paper Stack and I have used my Banner Framelits too.
I even added a pocket so I can slip in things I wanted to keep with the page like receipts and tickets.
This decorative card was stamped with the Hardwood Stamp and then had other images stamped from the Around the World Stamp Set and punched out with the 1 inch circle punch and the Hexagon Punch. Butterflies of course adorn the page punched out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch as well as the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
I had a lot of fun making this page and am looking forward to adding my photos and stories. When we get the new Project Life by Stampin' Up! products it will all come together even quicker! Make sure you are signed up for my newsletter if you want to be one of the first to know more about Project Life by Stampin' Up! in the UK - just pop your email address in the box at the top right hand side of the page.
