Have I mentioned that I love the new Stampin' Blendabilities from Stampin' Up! and am so pleased that they are available here in the UK. For this week's Find Out About Friday I thought I would tell you about them. Now I should start by saying I am no expert in colouring in - but that is the good news you don't have to be to get great results with these wonderful pens - and you will love the results from the first time you use them! Yes like everything practice makes perfect but I for one don't mind an excuse to sit and play :-)
I have a little video of them in action for you but let's start by taking a quick look at the pens themselves. They come in sets of three, a dark, a mid and a light tone to give a beautiful range of tones within one Stampin' Up! Colour. The barrels are square which is great as it means they won't run away when you put them down on your desk and they are easy to store on their sides - which will help prolong their life. The other thing which prolongs their life is the tight fitting lids, which had a really lovely positive click when they shut. While the sound is obviously different, it reminds me a bit of the reassuring sound the door of a quality car makes, you know it has shut nicely. The lids do have finger grips on two sides which certainly makes opening and closing them easier!
Behind these lid you have two choices of nibs - a bullet tip and a brush tip with a wonderful fine tip - you can see them both in the video. These are made of nylon so will perform well, are very durable and won't fray.
