Find Out About Friday - What Kind of Card Making Classes Do You Offer

Something I have been asked about a lot over the last couple of weeks is the kind of card making classes that I offer and I realised that it had been a while since I talked about them all in one place so I thought today I would put this right.  I hope that this will help you pick the classes that are right for you by explaining the differences.

There are three things that all the classes have in common
1. They are a lot of fun
2. They need to be booked at least a week in advance - just email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk
3. You will always have completed cards to take home ready to send or give.  A handmade card really shows you care and can really make the recipients day.

I have never made cards before - which class should I pick?

Actually, you would be welcome at any of the card making classes I offer.  If however you would like a class especially designed to show you the basics of card making and to teach you some of the techniques we use at almost every class then why not book an Introductory Class.  These classes are run at your convenience (either daytime, evening or weekend) and you can bring along up to 5 of your friends.  An Introductory Class lasts about 2 hours and costs £15 per person, or the class is free if you place a qualifying order with me.

I am really short on time but would like to have hand made cards to send each month - which class should I pick?

Card Club Express is designed with you in mind!  We all have hectic lives and our time is precious so for those times when you need fast and fabulous cards to give or send just drop into Card Club Express and make 4 cards.  Even the times are flexible so you can fit it around your other commitments - just drop in for an hour (or longer if you want) and enjoy some light refreshments while you make your cards.  There are Friday morning and Saturday afternoon sessions available the second weekend of the month.  It costs £15 to make your 4 cards or is free if you place a qualifying order with me.

I want to make beautiful cards and learn new techniques - which class should I pick?

You are going to love the monthly Card Making Class.  At this class we take one of the wonderful Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets and make a collection of cards with it.  The cards will explore different ways of using the stamp set and cover lots of different techniques.  You will also have the stamp set to take home with you at the end of the class so you can make more of the cards when ever you want.  These classes will keep you inspired and boost your collection of both stamps and ideas!  The cost of this class varies depending on the stamp set we are using but tends to be between £28 and £35  This class is also available to take in the comfort of your own home and at your own leisure - just book a postal place.

I really want to take a class but I can't make the dates you offer - is there anything you can do?

Yes Definitely!  The Card Making Class is available by post - you will get the stamps all the card, accessories and instructions you need to make the projects - you will just need to add adhesives and ink.

Alternatively you may want to consider a private class for you and your friends, at your place or mine, just get in touch (bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk) and lets get planning! If you are not local we can also meet virtually for your class.

This all sounds great but what if I want to spend longer crafting?

Twice a year I run all day events - the next one is the Spring Craft Day on April 18th - a whole day of crafting fun.  You can find the details here.
