Today I have not one but two Scrapbook Pages to share! Last week I showed you a mini book I had made featuring a recent trip to Whipsnade Zoo. It used some of the photos that I had printed but which did not have individual stories attached to them. Today I am going to show you two 12x12 pages from that trip.
First up is this adorable Red Panda. Our day out was partly about spending time with friends and partly about learning about our cameras. This cute chap was very willing to pose in the branches for us and gave me the chance to practice changing the depth of field in my shots, learning how to get the branches behind him a bit blurry!
You will be pleased to know I have completed the journaling on this page since taking its photo!
Later in the day we went to visit the Penguins. They were a lot of fun but this King Penguin caught my attention. All on his own looking like he was embarking on the longest of walks. The journaling talks about how he sparked a whole and very random train of thoughts.
Can you spot the error on this page? Spell checker tells me I have spelt Penguin wrong on it! Whoops - I am not going to change the page however, creative spelling is just part of the dyslexic I am so I guess that should really be represented in my albums!
Both pages feature papers from the Botanical Gazette Designer Series Pack – I love its nature inspired themes and how its soft warm colours compliment the pictures from the day. The pages were made from the contents of July’s Scrapbook Club Kit. Each month the kit contains enough materials to make at least 4 scrapbook pages and usually many more! For example with July's Kit I made 4 pages, a mini book and had lots of scraps left to put on cards. You can join the Scrapbook Club in person of have your kit posted out to you – the choice is yours. Full details here.
I have to dash it’s card making class this afternoon – we are making some fun projects using the Clearly for You Stamp Set – and yes I will show you some of them over the next week or so! See you then ...
Happy Stampin’
