I am just back from the most amazing time in Orlando with Stampin' Up! This was the first time that Demonstrators from the UK were invited and I was not going to miss the chance to spend a few days with some incredible and inspiring people. I should warn you that this post is somewhat photo heavy but I hope you enjoy seeing quick snapshot of my week.
I arrived a little early so that I could enjoy the sunshine and spend some time with a few of my friends who had also arrived early. Firstly there was dinner with the lovely Sharon and Mike McNeely who I met on last summers cruise. We had a real giggle and a lovely meal.
I had planned to do a little shopping and after a suggestion from Sharon disovered a gorgeoush shop called Charming Charley. Loved it in there - so many pretty colours and some real bargains to be had!
I also went to my first ever Disney Park, Epcot, with the lovely Brenda Quintana. We had a fantastic day, rode a few rides and even walked all the way round the world.
Since Brenda is Canadian I thought I would also share a picture of the Canadian Lumberjacks - even if they did not sing the Monty Python Song!
My plans for the Wednesday changed somewhat thanks to the snow in Boston, but did give me the chance to meet and spend the day with these lovely ladies, Rebecca, Katherine, Debbi, Brenda and Lydia (who writes the first blog I ever followed - so excited to meet her!)
We also did a little mixed media art, which seemed to include me getting paint in my hair. I love the backgrounds I made and have added words to a couple since I got home.
The my room mate the lovely Selene Kempton finally made it from Boston!
Then the party, I mean meeting, really started. We had some amazing presentations from this stage.
We met Mickey Mouse at the Managers Reception when part of Disney World was open just for us.
I got to spend time with these amazing people and many many more
I even won Prize Patrol - that never happens!
A huge thank you goes to this wonderful team of people who made it all happen and who continually inspire me.
A special thank you also goes to those who have kindly shared their photos on Facebook - I am loving looking back and know I have a stupid huge grin every time I do.
Who knew when I joined Stampin' Up! I would ever get opportunities like this? I certainly didn't and what is more they are there for anyone who wants them. If you would like to know more please just ask - drop me an email at bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk I am off to look at photos again!
Happy Stampin'
