Last week I took delivery of some of the gorgeous new Sale-a-Bration products including the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack. I took a day or so just to stroke it (please tell me I am not alone in doing things like that!) and then before I knew it I had coloured a whole sheet of the butterfly prints with my Stampin' Write Markers!
It is so pretty that I decided I was not going to do an awful lot to it on the card and this is the finished card. The colours are Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise. The Hello was cut with the Hello You Thinlit Die from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
I did want to mention my secret weapon when I am working with Vellum and with these intricate die cuts - the Stampin' Up! Transfer Adhesive Sheets. They are amazing - you just peel off the cover sheet, pop your die cut or your vellum onto the sticky side, lift it off again and stick it to your project. No mess, no fuss and with vellum no unsightly glue behind! The adhesive is really strong and will hold ribbon, buttons and any paper embelishments or photos so it is also ideal for Scrapbooking, Project Life or This and Than Journals (what could be better than a sheet of glue you can carry around with your This and That Journal!) You can order yours here.
Happy Stampin'
