If you have visited this blog a few times you will not be shocked to discover that I love my Elegant Butterfly Punch from Stampin' Up! and that I used it quite a lot. OK I use it a lot! Today I am going to share something a little different that I have done with it.
If you look at the background for this card you will see that there are lots of Elegant Butterfly Shapes but that they are not punched out. I created a stencil by punching the butterfly out of a piece of Vellum Card Stock and then used a Dauber and some Blackberry Bliss Ink to add the butterflies. By not reinking my dauber I was able to create the graduated colour as I worked up the piece of card, and by overlapping some of the butterflies I was able to create even more visual texture.
I topped the card off with a wreath stamped from the Your Perfect Day Stamp Set (loving this too right now!), some flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punches, some Rhinestones, a scrap of Tea Lace Doily and of course a butterfly Punched with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
