Fresh and funky Father's Day Card featuring the Eastern Beauty Stamps from Stampin' Up! UK

Today I thought I would share a card which I hope would bring a smile to anyone's face - and which would make a great card to send for Father's Day.  

Lots of people tell me that they find it hard to make cards for men and the patterns and shapes in the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set make it ideal for any one - old, young, male or female.  By mixing up the colours this card could easily be adapted for anything.  I suspect I will end up doing just that before too long!

I love how these colours really zing when  used together - the mix of turquoises and the bright pop of the Lemon Lime Twist paper from the Eastern Palace Papers alone make me smile!

Just a quick reminder that the current Stampin' Up! UK catalogues end tomorrow (31 May) and that on Thursday the new one launches.  So if you live in the UK and don't have a demonstrator and would like a copy please get in touch.

Fast & Fabulous Thank You Card featuring the Eastern Palace Suite from Stampin' Up! UK

Today I have another video for you - this time sharing how to make these Fast and Fabulous Thank You Cards.

I am totally in love with the Eastern Palace Suite at the moment - it is one of those stamp sets that once I picked it up I just could not stop stamping with it! So yes I will be sharing lots more projects with it over the coming weeks.

The dies in the set are fantastic and give you so many layering possibilities.  And the coordination with the stamps is so much fun - just what you expect from Stampin' Up!

Eastern Beauty To See You Is To Smile Watercolour Card

OK I admit it - I think I am in love with the new Eastern Beauty Stamp Set!  I have had hours of fun combining patterns and playing with new colours - and even made some of them up into cards which I will show you soon, but today I wanted to show you something a little different. 

This card features the floral shape from the set which I have stamped with third generation ink and then watercoloured in to give an almost line less look.

The sentiment alone makes me smile!  What a lovely greeting to be able to send someone.

There are some gorgeous matching papers available in this suite but I have used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to give a little extra sparkle and shine to this project.

The main colour I have used is one of the new Stampin' Up! In Colours called Berry Burst which will be available from 1 June - how pretty.  And how clever of my neighbour to give me flowers which match!
