Scrapbook Saturday

Given that I am loving the Olympics so much, for this week's Scrapbook Saturday I am going to share a page which features the Olympic Countdown Clock.  When I took the photo the Olympics were 98 days away and the journalling talks about how far away they seem - yet here we are on the last day.

The papers are from the gorgeous Attic Boutique Collection which, like everything else in the summer Mini Catalogue, are only available until the end of this month.  If you would like to order some please email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Scrapbook Saturday - Who is the Easter Bunny?

Earlier this week I showed you an Easter themed Scrapbook Page featuring the gorgeous Attic Boutique Papers and yes the subject is gorgeous too! Today  I am going to show you the page that will go opposite it in the album, featuring the same little cutie and her Mum messing around wearing Bunny Ears at the Cadbury Easter Fun Day.
Bekka's Three Photo Easter Scrapbook Page with Attic Boutique Papers from Stampin' Up! www.feeling-crafty.co.uk

I love the look between mother and daughter in the top left photo!  The background was made using the Diagonal Plate on my Simply Scored! Score Board, I added a line every half inch across the page.  I then inked the edges and added some splatters to give an interesting background effect that frames the images.

The circular ribbon flowers were made by gathering some of the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and coiling it around.

This was one of the inspiration pages I made for this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club.  We welcomed two new members this month and if you would like to join them, or to subscribe to the monthly Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Kit, just email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Variation on the Mixed Bunch Tag Theme

Yesterday I showed you a tag featuring the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and some of the Attic Boutique Papers.  Today I am going to show you a variation on that theme, using exactly the same design, but changing up a couple of things.

Here is the changed up tag - can you spot what is different?
Tag made with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set & Attic Boutique Papers by Bekka www.feeling-crafty.co.uk - would look great on a Scrapbook Page or on a Card

I have used different papers from the Attic Boutique Collection.  Projects like this one are great for using up your scraps!

I have gently inked all the edges with coordinating inks.  Using a dauber, getting this effect which pulls everything together and draws the eye in is quick, easy and mess free.  I keep a dauber for each of the colours, so can just select the one I want and add as much ink as I want!

I have also gently shaped the flowers to add some additional dimension to the tag.

I have also crinkled the Pool Party Ribbon adding to that slightly more vintage look.  Check back tomorrow to find out how to achieve this effect.

Scrapbook Saturday - Simply Scored! Scrapbook Page

For this week's Scrapbook Saturday I am going to show you a page featuring a background made with the Diagonal Plate on my Simply Scored!

Over Easter we went to the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Ashridge, as well as the Easter Egg Trail there were some fun Easter themed things to do including having your photo taken with the Easter Bunny Ears.  From the look on Chloe's face I am not sure she thought it was a good idea at first but we did get some lovely photos of her and her Mum.
Simply Scored! Scrapbook Page with Attic Boutique Papers

I used the Diagonal Plate on the Simply Scored! to make the background.  I scored every half an inch and then inked around the edges of the page, first with matching Crumb Cake ink and then at the very edges with Soft Suede.  Then I splattered the page with my Spritzing Tool.  The papers are from the gorgeous Attic Boutique Papers.  These little embellishments were made by gathering the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and coiling it around.

If you would like more information on the Simply Scored! check out this post which also tells you about the I Scored! packages I am offering to help you get the most from your new Simply Scored! Board

Apothecary Art Notebooks for my Team

I really enjoyed the recent Stampin' Up! Training for so many reasons.  It is always fantastic to spend time with creative friends and exciting to hear what Stampin' Up! have planned for us.

One of my favourite bits however was spending time with some of my team and having a chance to spoil them.  Not everyone went to the same training event as I did, so I have had to wait a while before showing you the gift I made for them all.
Apothecary Art Notebooks with Attic Boutique Papers

The Notebooks feature papers from the delicious Attic Boutique collection and the image is from Apothecary Art.  Here is the first batch together.

6x6 Attic Boutique Scrapbook Page

Today I am going to be mostly Scrapbooking as I get ready for this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club which features the gorgeous Attic Boutique Papers.  I have already made several cards and scrapbook pages featuring these fantastic papers and have lots of ideas for more which I am looking forward to making and then to sharing!

As a little taster for you all here is a small 6x6 inch page I made with the Attic Boutique Papers.  At the recent Stampin' Up! Regional Training we were asked to submit card or 6x6 scrapbook page for the displays and this is what I came up with.
Scrapbook Page with Attic Boutique Papers from Stampin' Up!

The page also features butterflies from the wonderful Beautiful Wings Embosslit, some Victoria Crochet Trim, and some Pool Party Seam Binding.  I have stamped images from the Bordering on Romance Stamp Set in Crumb Cake on the Crumb Cake Base and then inked all the edges.

As well as looking good with a photo on it, this page would make a lovely card.

To find out more about the Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club check this link or email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk  Everyone is welcome, experienced Scrappers and those who are wanting to try Scrapbooking for the first time, you can join us in person or can have your kit sent to your door.

I hope you decide to join us

Scrapbook Saturday - Here come the girls

I am really looking forward to today as I will be spending it with crafty friends, some new and some I have known for a little while now.  I love that with Stampin' Up! I am able to spend time with fellow crafters and share what I love.

Today's Scrapbook page follows along this theme as it documents some of the wonderful people I spent time with at the awards dinner at last year's Stampin' Up! Convention at Disneyland Paris.

There were rather a lot of them and the page expands to show everyone all dressed up, beautiful smiles everywhere I looked!
Stampin' Up! Convention Scrapbook Page with Attic Boutique Papers

Yes, those are the Attic Boutique Papers again - I love them!  And yes it is also my new favourite ribbon - Pool Party Seam Binding.

I am really looking forward to the next Convention - its in the historic town of Mainz in Germany, and it promises to be an extra special Convention as we will be celebrating five years of Stampin' Up! in Europe.

Would you like to join us?

If you would like to know how you can get your Convention ticket worth £149 for FREE email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk for more information - but do hurry as the free tickets are only available until the end of the month.

The Delicious New Attic Boutique Papers

The delicious new Attic Boutique Papers can be found on page 18 of the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue.  They have rapidly become something I reach for almost every time I sit down to craft - I love them.  I have to make an active choice to use the other lovely papers so they don't get jealous!

I am also trying to make sure I use every scrap of them and this is how this card started - as some off cuts on my desk.  I know a lot of you are like me and don't like to let those scraps go to waste.
Attic Boutique Papers from Stampin' Up!

As well as the Attic Boutique Papers this card features my two favourite ribbons, the Victoria Crochet Trim and the Pool Party Seam Binding.  Since I was using a lot of my favourite things I added some butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

We are going to be featuring the Attic Boutique Papers in this month's Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club Kit.  You can join us on either Thursday 24th May in the evening or on Thursday 31st during the day, or you can play along at home.  Each month's kit costs £15 and you will have access to at least four sample pages made using just the items in the kit.  To book your place and to get your Feeling Crafty Scrapbook Club Kit just email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Today I am going to introduce The Open Sea, another of the new stamp sets in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.  I am particularly excited about this 5 stamp set as its is going to be great for cards for men - lots of you tell me you find these cards hard but with a stamp set like this I am sure you will soon change your mind!  It is also going to be fantastic for scrapbooking, especially those summer holiday pages, for creating cards for lots of different occasions and as a background stamp.  I especially love the ledger page and the compass images.

Scrapbook Saturday - We Are Family

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  I am looking forward to celebrating by going to a crop and spending some time Scrapbooking with friends.  Can't Wait.

Today I am going to share a scrapbook page featuring a photo taken on a Easter Sunday, when we went up to Ashridge and walked around their Easter Egg Trail.  It was somewhat soggy but a lot of fun.  I snapped this picture of my stepdaughter, her daughter and her partner.
We are Family - featuring Attic Boutique from Stampin' Up!

Sneak Peek - Stampin' Up! My Way Badge

I had an amazing day yesterday at the Stampin' Up! Regional Training in Reading!  It was fantastic to spend some time with some of the people in my team, to catch up with friends and make new ones.  We had some wonderful presentations and I have come away with lots of ideas that I am looking forward to sharing with you all soon.  Stampin' Up! really do know how to put on a good event and have some amazing things in store for us all over the next few months.

One of the themes for the training was Stampin' Up! My Way - all about how to make the Stampin' Up! business work for us, what ever our circumstances and what ever we want to get out of it.  As part of that theme we got to make our own name badges - our way.  Here is mine
Stampin' Up! My Way Badge

Yes there are some products I use a lot of there, the Beautiful Wings Embosslit, the Victoria Crochet Trim and Everything Eleanor Stamps, but it is also packed with new products too - new papers, new stamps, new ribbon and new Dies!  I know you are going to see a lot more of each of these new things from me as I can't stop using them and have so many ideas for them.

All will be revealed on Tuesday...  Make sure you are on my newsletter email list (box at the top right hand side of my blog) to get a copy emailed to you.

I am so lucky to work with such a wonderful company and such uplifting people.  Yesterday reminded me of that and if you would like to join us for the next Stampin' Up! Event you can.  As well as the Regional Training this year Stampin' Up! are offering Leadership Training for those who have a team and then later in the year (November) there is the European Convention which is open to every Demonstrator in Europe.  This year is is going to be in Mainz in Germany and promises to be a very very exciting event.  I would love for you to come with me and share what will be a magical experience.  Email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk to find out how you can.
