Prize Bag!

Do you remember last month I gave away some beautiful Stampin’ Up! Rhinestones and Peals to the lovely Sally who guessed how many Dimensional Pads I had used for a couple of Scrapbook Pages? Well I hope her prize has now arrived so I thought I would show you the bag I made to send her prize in.

The colours used are Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzaz and I have decorated it using a stamp from the wonderful Punch Bunch Stamp Set. Here is the inside.

And of course there had to be a matching card.

I hope Sally liked it.

I have been busy getting ready for our team training day tomorrow – I am really looking forward to seeing everyone – we have 50 people coming so that is a lot of kits to get ready but I am so excited!

Flowery Friday

When I used to work away from home during the week, my lovely OH would make sure there were always fresh flowers waiting when I got home. It’s so lovely to come home and find fresh flowers, I don’t miss being away so much but strangely I do miss that feeling of coming home!

So today I am going to show you a card featuring the beautiful flowers from the lovely Sweet Summer Stamp Set. It’s one of 4 stamp sets you can choose for free when you spend £45 on Stampin’ Up! products between now and the end of the month. You can collect them all as you get one for every £45 you spend, but do hurry as I would not want you to miss out. Details here.

This card again features the wonderful Shimmer Cardstock – I love this stuff! I again masked off the edges of the card using post it notes and then stamped and coloured my images.

These flowers are so pretty and so lovely to colour

Have a wonderful Friday everyone

Scrapping Bliss

I am really enjoying Scrapbooking at the moment – I love to make things to give away but it’s also lovely to make things to keep!

I had a photo left over from my last Scrapbooking Club so decided to make a 6x6 page featuring it.

Here is some of the journaling on the back of the page: Traditionally our family goes on a walk together on Boxing Day and this year was no exception. As ever my Mum had over fed us all and it was lovely to get some fresh air and to make room for the next food instalment! The snow made walking down the hill from their house interesting and the group soon spread out. I have walked down the lane thousands of time, it’s always slightly different but always wonderfully familiar.

The base is Early Espresso and I have stamped it using the big swirls from the Bliss Stamp Set.  I created a patterned layer with the same image using Poppy Parade Ink on Shimmer White Card Stock. My sister very conveniently was wearing a coat in that colour and the shimmer on the Shimmer White Card Stock reminds me of the snow. The punched out Ornament adds a subtle festive reminder and no festive project is complete without some sparkle!

Our February Scrapbook Club Meeting is on Thursday 10th, it would be lovely to see you there or to have you join us remotely, email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk for details.

Wise Owl Wednesday

Today I have another post friendly card for you. I enjoyed making yesterday’s card so much I decided to make another similar one.

This time I used the big Swirl from the Bliss Stamp Set to add even more detail to my background Square. The base colours are Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi and this splatters from the Spritzing tool are Rose Red.

The Wise Owl has been coloured with Early Espresso and Rose Red using my Stampin’ Write Markers. I am really looking forward to getting the coordinating punch for this stamp, it will be available in the UK from April.

All the stamps on this card (including the sentiment) are available free – how great when the stamps are free it leaves more money for other stash!

Blissful Tuesday

Can you believe it’s been over a week since I last showed you a card made with the wonderful FREE Bliss Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set! How did that happen! I love this set – it’s so versatile and it has sparked just so many ideas for me.

If you would like to come and be inspired and use it for a day why not come along to one of our Spring Bliss Stampfest Days – you can find some details here and you will have your own Bliss Stamp Set to take away at the end of the day! Email bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk to book your place.

So today I thought I would show you a one layer card featuring the wonderful butterfly from the set. One layer cards are great as they can be posted for just the price of a normal stamp (postage stamp!).

The top layer of this card is the wonderful shimmer white card stock, I masked off the edges just leaving a square visible and the used my brayer to add Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi Inks. I then used my spritzer tool with the Pacific Point Marker to add some more texture. You can still see the shimmer of the card beneath. The butterflies were stamped in Regal Rose and Rose Red. The sentiment is from So Happy For You, another set you can earn for free – find out how here.

Sunshine and Flowers

It’s a beautiful cold sunny day here – the kind of day that makes you enjoy sitting in a sunny corner and which encourages you to look forward to summer!

I may have mentioned before that I love to sit and colour – it’s just so relaxing and today I am going to share some cards featuring some water colouring.

The beautiful flower from Growing Green has been stamped onto the beautiful Shimmer Card using Black Stazon Ink and then the flowers have been coloured using an Aqua Painter Brush and ink from the Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads. I love how the shimmer shows through the colour! The edges have then been inked in the same colour.

Panto Thank Yous

Today I will be mostly resting and relaxing! This year’s panto is over and I am feeling a mix of emotions – proud of the cast and crew, they did a great job, thrilled with the audience reaction, shattered and a little bit sad – I am going to miss it, and excited about the possibilities of starting the next production.

There is a huge team involved in putting on a show and I have really appreciated their efforts. I made everyone a card to say thank you – and through I would share them with you. There were way way too many to fit in one photo!

It was great to have an excuse to get out the Christmas Stamps again so soon – our show was called Santa the Panta so the choice of stamp was an easy one! This Santa is from Sparkly and Bright.

Did you know if you order the Sparkly and Bright Stamp Set and the two Punches I used to make this card before the end of February, you would qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set? Now I know several of you are thinking of starting your cards early this year and what better incentive could there be than a free stamp set as your reward? Rushing through ...

Very quick post from me today, we have our last two panto performances and then I have a party to get ready for!

I have had very little crafting time this week and that little bit I have had was spent working on some projects I can’t share just yet. So today I am going to share some cards I made last year but never showed you. All the product used to make these cards is still available.

Have a fantastic day

Its Good to Dream!

Well they did it! Our audience last night seemed to enjoy the Panto and the cast and crew certainly did – if you are local we do have some seats for tonight, tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening, after that its no more Panto for us!

As promised here is another blue card, again featuring the beautiful Blueberry Crisp Papers and the Razzle Dazzle Stamps.  I love the sentiment from this stamp set - it's good to dream.

Today’s blue is Not Quite Navy and it has been teamed with Old Olive and Cajun Craze, a combination suggested by the wonderful colour coach.

The colour coach is one of the things which really helps me come up with new ideas. Before I joined Stampin’ Up! one of the things that really worried me was where I would get my ideas from. After all I am just an ordinary crafter.

What I have found however is that I now have more ideas than I have time to make! As well as interesting new colour combinations from the colour coach I get ideas from many other places. My team inspire me, our training meetings with other demonstrators inspire me and give me ideas I can put straight to work in my business. Each month I share ideas and projects with the team and the swaps we do give me ideas too. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at our next all day training on 6th February - as well as catching up with some wonderful friends and learning all about business I know we are all going to come away with so many ideas to share.

If you are interested in joining Stampin’ Up! check this link to find out why now really is the most inspiring time of year to join my team.
