Clean and Simple

Last night I attended a cyber get together organised by the lovely Monica for her Stampin’ Up! team. It was lovely to catch up with people and to chat (well type!) to each other. One of the many things I love about Stampin' Up! is the wonderful people I have met and who I can now call friends.
Along the way Monica set us some challanges. The first one was to make a clean and simple card with no layers in just 45 mins. I found this really hard as I kept wanting to add layers, but turned to the lovely Bloomin’ with Beauty set.
Now I should apologise for the photo – it was taken last night and there is no point in retaking it today as its very gloomy here. The main image was stamped with basic Grey on Very Vanilla. It has been coloured with Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Mellow Moss, Creamy Caramel and Ruby Red using blender pens. I was pleased with how the colouring came out.
I will show you another card I made in response to the challenges tomorrow. In the mean time, if anyone has any sunshine going spare please would they send it my way!

Hello Bekka. It was great catching up with you last night. I had a blast. Loved this card, I was amazed that you could watercolour this image and photograph and upload in the time Monica gave us. Carole x
