I have several friends involved tonight and can't wait to see everything and to hear their stories. So for this week's Find Out About Friday I thought I would share my list of 10 crafty ways to celebrate the Olympics!
- Make a card inspired by the Olympic Rings - you may remember this Olympic Ring Card I shared with you a little while ago
- Make some bunting to decorate your home
- What signs of the Olympics can you see around you? Take photos and create a scrapbook page about them
- What are you most looking forward to about the Olympics? Make a mini book to remember them
- Make something inspired by the Colours of the Olympic Rings
- Have your own 'Garden Olympics' with fun games for everyone. Make the medals and certificates for everyone and don't forget to take lots of photos! Olympic Ring Hoopla anyone?
- Make a flag to wave in support of your favourite athletes
- Design your own London 2012 logo - this would also be a fun thing to do with the kids
- Copy down your favourite Olympic Headlines each day and make a mini book to keep them in
- Make Olympic themed food to eat while watching - how about Pop Corn or other snacks in an Olympic Torch inspired container or decorated cupcakes!
I plan to trying all of these 10 Olympic Craft Ideas hope they have also inspired you. However you are celebrating the Olympics have fun and I hope you get crafty with it too!
